Webmail - Emoji in Subject not displayed, ?? instead

It seems that a subject containing emoji is not displayed correctly in the left email list panel, but it looks perfectly fine in the right reading panel.
IceWarp Server Deep Castle 2 Update 3 build 9, Web interface.
