Does the Message Server or RazorGate appliance rewrite message envelopes when redirecting a message?

Solution

Rewriting envelope recipient addresses is vital for email to work. All of the mechanisms for redirecting a message (i.e., distribution lists, LDAP, LDIF, filter forwarding) rewrite envelope recipient addresses. However, it is not always necessary to rewrite message headers.
