- On the started Virtual machine, you are presented with the URLs and credentials needed to set up the FullText server
Make sure that the IP address is resolvable from your IceWarp machine; otherwise, you will not be able to connect your IceWarp server to the Fulltext server
- Log into the remote console of your IceWarp server and navigate yourself to "System > Storage > Fulltext Search" Enable the Fulltext search in IceWarp
- Copy the URLs from Step 3 and Step 4
- In the remote console, switch the Database service to "Connect to remote Database service" and input the URL from Step 3
- In the remote console, switch the Document conversion service to "Connect to remote Document conversion service," input the URL from Step 4 and click on apply. The scanner service will stay on the local machine.
Now, the services are correctly connected.
To start the indexing process, please refresh the directory cache on your server in the remote console > System > Advanced > Directory cache > Refresh now.
You can see the scanning process by tool.exe in the IceWarp installation folder with the commands:
For windows - .\tool.exe get system C_System_Services_Fulltext_Scanner_Status
For Linux - ./tool.sh get system C_System_Services_Fulltext_Scanner_Status
