Known issues in IceWarp Epos

List of known issues that have been observed in the latest IceWarp EPOS builds

Dashboard

• Cannot finish activation of Chat GPT (from 22.1.2024)

Version 14.1.0.12 (Update 1 Build 12)

• Using distribution lists selected from address book results in error

Version 14.1.0.9 (Update 1 Build 9)

• It is not possible to edit "Login screen" in WebClient > Administrator Options > Domain > Edit domain > General > Login screen
• Changes on font (for example bold) results in leaving the site
• Search folders gives no result when searching in "all folders" 

Version 14.1.0.8 (Update 1 Build 8)

• Images pasted directly in email body disappears after a while

Version 14.1.0.6 (Update 1 Build 6)

• Saving changes in administration console are not reflected until Control is restarted (applies Windows server only)

Version 14.1.0.5 (Update 1 Build 5)

• It is not possible to move emails between folders if "Desktop Notification" settings in WebClient is set to "Always"
• Please do not install Update 1 Build 5 -> download and install Update 1 Build 6

Version 14.1.0.4 (Update 1 Build 4)

• It is not possible to use TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1
• Troubleshooting link generated from WebClient doesn't work

Version 14.1.0.3 (Update 1 Build 3)

• Control may hang if Active Directory Authentication is enabled (solved in 14.1.0.4)

Version 14.1.0.2 (Update 1 Build 2)

• The spell-checker button cannot be pressed and activated in the WebClient (applies to Windows Server only)
• The account size limit set on the domain level is not visible in the WebClient
• Spam Reports are not working in any mode
• it is not possible to share GroupWare from WebClient (applies to Windows Server only)

Version 14.0.0.16 (Build 16)

• Cannot be installed on Windows Server

Version 14.0.0.15 (Build 15)

• The copy & Paste feature in the compose window results in text duplication in the Subject field
• Unable to generate a preview for PPTX presentations (works for other file types)

Version 14.0.0.14 (Build 14)

• Upgrading from Deep Castle to EPOS while the Accounts db is set to the filesystem will not be migrated to the SQLite automatically as it should
• Possible sync issues with Calendar and Contacts under iOS 17 (related to Apple)

Version 14.0.0.13 (Build 13)

• Deleting an empty IP entry in Intrusion Prevention empties the entire list
• Inserting plain text won't preserve its original format while composing a new message
• Drag&drop emails to public folders is not working

Version 14.0.0.12 (Build 12)

• VCF attachments cannot be sent
• Email as attachments cannot be sent

Version 14.0.0.10 (Build 10)

• Messages with attachments (Direct attach ON) stored in Drafts are always sent as Smart Attach (Direct attach is being replaced by Smart Attach automatically)
• Attachments in messages (Direct attach ON) sent out from Drafts remain to be stored in the Upload folder under Files & Documents
• The mailbox storage quota does not display any values after the point (for example, 3.4 GB is presented as 3 GB)

Version 14.0.0.9 (Build 9)

• Only one signature can be used as the rest is being deleted (fixed in build 11)
• You cannot search with diacritics without a full-text search
• You cannot search by the date without a full-text search
• You can attach a screenshot; however, it won't be visible in the mail body when the email gets sent
