correctly deploying the VM appliance?

Hello,

after deploying the VM appliance of IceWarp Deep Castle Gen 2, I run the deployment script, set everything up and once it finishes - I can't log onto the new server...I've tried the deployment both from the VM console and (with a newly imported disk) a SSH terminal to be sure I'm pasting the passwords correctly, yet I remain locked out. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Note that logging in as root works up to the point the deployment finishes.

We're using Proxmox VE 6.4 (running kernel: 5.4.106-1-pve) and importing the VMWare image appliance.
