Error message "Outlook Sync detected incompatible application ..."

Hi,

with the latest Outlook Sync connector I'm receiving this error message each time Outlook starts:

What does this message mean? I can't uninstall the Office Desktop applications ... the *sense* of the connector is to work with the Desktop version of Outlook.

Very worrying - how do I get rid of this message?
