What is the maximum size for a mailbox/IMAP folders?

What is the maximum size restriction for a user's mailbox/IMAP folders? Is there a limit to what MOS can handle?

SolutionÂ

The limit of messages stored in a mailbox is 150,000 messages per folder, not accounting for user quotas.

There is no limit on the size of the mailbox, however extremely large mailboxes may effect performance.

For example; Mirapoint supports customer mailbox size over 2GB.
