In what order is user information resolved?

Solution

The Message Server or RazorGate appliance resolves user information in the following order:

  > local user, LDIF record, LDAP record

So whenever there is a local user with the same name as a user in the LDIF/LDAP database, the Message Server or RazorGate appliance will resolve the information locally first, then look at the LDIF record, and finally try to resolve the information using the LDAP database.
