Issue
What is the Mirapoint software deprecation process?
Solution
When Mirapoint deprecates, or phases out a command, that command continues work for several major releases (for example, 3.2, 3.3, or 3.4, etc.), but all documentation related to that command is removed from the manuals and on-line helps.
After a command is deprecated for several releases, it is unsupported. When a command is unsupported, its functionality is entirely removed from the system; it no longer works.
For example, the Farm command is deprecated in Release 3.4, but it remains functional until release 3.6.
