Solution

WebMail/WebCal Direct Standard Edition operates without issue in IE8.

WebMail/WebCal Corporate Edition operates without issue in IE8 when the Mirapoint appliance is running MOS 4.1.6 and later 4.x releases or MOS 3.10.6 and later 3.x releases.

On earlier MOS releases, CE exhibits some cosmetic issues in IE8. To correct these issues, an IE8 user can enter a website URL (such as their mail server's URL) to operate in Compatibility Mode (under Tools > Compatibility View in IE8). An IE8 user can also select the Display all website in Compatibility View option, establishing the setting for all websites and not just the mail server.
