Should I ever create more than one journaling mailbox on my email server?

Solution

Different mail servers have different performance limitations with respect to how many messages can be stored in a single mail folder or account. If you anticipate a high volume of messages you may choose to create multiple journaling accounts on a single email server.

For example, you could create a journaling folder for incoming messages and another folder for outgoing messages. Some customers prefer to have a separate folder for each day of the week. These customers use a script to automatically change the folder that a message is placed based on the day of the week. If you do implement multiple journaling mailboxes be sure the accounts are not only added on the email server but also added on RazorSafe.
