How do I set up Ipswitch IMail to work with my RazorSafe appliance?

Solution

Ipswitch IMail contains a built-in journaling function that captures everything except BCC (blind carbon copy). This journaling function is compatible with RazorSafe. In order to configure RazorSafe for IMail, complete the following steps:

1. On the IMail server, create a mailbox where copies of messages to archive will be sent.

a. Set password to never expire.

b. Verify that the mailbox is accessible via POP or IMAP.

2. Go to the SMTP security options, then select the Enable Copy All Mail setting and and specify the address (i.e., the address for the mailbox created in step 1) to which all mail will be copied.

3. Restart the SMTP and Queue Manager services.

4. On the RazorGate, configure a POP or IMAP Fetcher to retrieve the messages from the mailbox created in step 1. For more information on how to create a POP or IMAP Fetcher, see the Mirapoint RazorSafe Software Configuration Guide for your version of AOS.
