Performing a Backup
After configuring your DMA for NDMP backup, the DMA performs the backup of your Mirapoint appliance(s) according to the scheduled time interval you programmed. The following procedures cover how to perform a backup on-demand or at a time other than the one designated in the schedule, or using your DMA to perform a selective restore from image (available as of Mirapoint MOS 3.6).
