How do I specify virus and virus pattern update notification messages get sent to multiple users?

Solution

When a virus is detected on a Message Server or RazorGate appliance, the administrator, sender, and recipient of the email can be notified. To configure all or some of this behavior:

1. Log in to the Administration Suite as an administrator .
2. Select Anti-Virus > Notification .
3. Select the desired type of notification message listed under Choose a notification message to edit (Sender, Recipient(s), Summary, or Deleted).
4. Click Enable it.
5. Enter the appropriate information in the From:, Subject:, and Message: fields.
6. Click Apply.

Repeat this process to have multiple users notified of a virus by selecting Recipient(s), or update the virus-alerts distribution list using the CLI.

To use the CLI to update the virus-alerts DL, use the Dl Add command as described in the Mirapoint Administration Protocol Reference.
