Issue
What does it mean with the "Mirapoint System not responding" message displays for up to five minutes, and then the system attempts to restart itself?
Solution
This could mean that the front-panel LCD and keypad module has locked up or stopped communicating with the system, the system crashed, or there are software or hardware problems.
First, try to communicate with your system using the CLI or the Administration Suite. If the system responds it is still running. Press the Module Reset button on the front-panel keypad to reset the module; this will not reset your system. If the system is running and the problem repeats, or if the system does not recover from the reset, contact Mirapoint Technical Support.
If the system is still not responding, it has probably crashed. Allow the front-panel module to restart your system.
When the system is back up, look at the System Logs form in the Administration Suite to find out what errors the system reported. Important information appears there, possibly indicating why the system stopped responding. Report any and all general system restarts to Mirapoint Technical Support.
