What Does This Alert Means
The following conditions are outstanding:
RAID.BATTERY1STATUS: Raid controller battery is Bad or Missing. Contact Mirapoint support for a replacement. RAID.CACHE1ON: Raid controller cache is in write-through mode. System performance will be slow.
Answer :
The alert (RAID.CACHE1ON: Raid controller cache is in write-through mode. System performance will be slow.) indicates 2 conditions with the onboard RAID write-cache battery:
1. The battery went through its maintenance cycle, this means a discharge and then controlled recharge to test the condition of the battery. This reconditioning cycle takes from 24 to 36 hours to complete. During this cycle, the RAID controller will be put in write-through mode, causing RAID.CACHEON alerts.
In this mode, data will be directly written to the RAID subsystem (disks), not making use of the RAID cache. So, system performance will be slow during this process. Once the Battery reconditioning cycle is complete, RAID.CACHEON alerts will stop automatically.
2. If the alert persists then it means the battery id reaching EOL and needs to be replaced. if the alert continues please contact Mirapoint Support for a battery replacement.

2. What does this alert mean?
The following conditions are outstanding: RAID.BATTERY1STATUS: "Recondition Needed"
Answer:
It means battery needs Recondition.
There's a cli command to start the recondition for the Battery
>storage battery startcalibration 0 >storage battery startcalibration 1
for more information you can refer this cLI command
> help storage battery startcalibration Storage Battery --------------- Stops and starts battery recalibration. If the ACM (advanced cooling module) is removed to replace a failed fan, the RAID controller loses battery calibration. Use this command to stop calibration at peak hours and restart it at a better time. Syntax ------ Storage Battery action battnum where action is either Startcalibration or Stopcalibration and battnum is a battery number, which can be determined with Storage Get Bbstatus. Some older Mirapoint systems do not support these battery commands.
Note: it will take approximately 24-36 hours before it is showing the status charged.
Summary :
Request the output of the following commands again and if it is as follows
CLI> stat get raid.cache1on RAID.CACHE1ON 0 OK Completed CLI> stat get raid.battery1status RAID.BATTERY1STATUS Charged OK Completed
Then it means that problem is Resolved.
If the output of the above CLI command still shows it "Recondition" or "bad" Please request for the level 1 diag data and escalate the case.
