In this article, we will look into setting up an account for any email client. We will use the Apple Mail application as an example.
1. Open Mail application
2. Click on "Mail" in the upper left corner
3. Click on "Other Mail Account..." and click on Continue
4. Fill in the information for your email account. Same email address and password which you are using in order to access the WebMail
5. You will be asked to fill in more information about your server. Fill out the form like the following screenshot. Please do not forget to change the "<your_onice.io_domain>" to an actual onice.io domain.
NOTE: If you do not know what is your onice.io domain, please reach out to your local administrator.
6. This is how it looks like when you successfully connect your account to your email client
NOTE: If you are asked for the specific port, you use this template:
Incoming server (IMAP): <your_onice.io_domain>
Ports:
1. 143 - Basic port, no encryption
2. 993 - Encrypted port
Outgoing server (SMTP): <your_onice.io_domain>
Ports:
1. 25 - Basic port, no encryption
2. 443 - Encrypted port
3. 587 - Encrypted port
