In Remote Console and WebAdmin you can administer your IceWarp Server: manage services and connection, configure groupware, create policies, add new users and groups of users.
This article is about how to create a user in Remote Console and WebAdmin.
To create a user in Remote Console:
- Click the domain where you want to create a user.
- Click .
- Select User.
- Fill in Alias and Password. Username and name are matched to your alias automatically. They can be changed if it is needed. You can also add a phone number and description.
The user will be created under the domain that was highlighted when you started.
You can also right-click the domain where you want to create a user > Create new > User.
To create a user in WebAdmin:
- Click > New user.
- Select a plan.
- Enter alias. You can leave the password that was generated automatically or enter your own.
- You can also add First and Last names or do it later.
- Click Save.
Note: If you want to move a user from one domain to another, create the new user in the destination domain. Use the migration tool on the backup to migrate all data (emails, calendars, contacts, etc.) to the new domain. |
