This guide is designed to help you configure your SMS Server using Clickatell provider.
Step1:
Login to Clickatell Developers‘ Central using your existing credentials at https://central.clickatell.com/
Step 2:
Create a new HTTP API with Add HTTP API button
Step 3:
Create a name for you API, set username and password
Step 4:
Apply for a long number to manage Two-Way SMS (optional)
Step 5:
Edit setting of Two-Way SMS (optional)
Step 6:
Select your created API and user Reply Path and Target Address examples on the picture
Step 7:
Move to IceWarp remote console now for the SMS server configuration
Navigate to SMS / General and press Add to create a new configuration. Choose a name for ID, select type HTTP Request, template Clickatell HTTP Gateway and copy this link over to Device window:
NOTE: Replace XXXX, YYYY and ZZZZ with your own values (XXXX stands for username, YYYY for password and ZZZZ for API_ID)
For Two-Way messaging use following link:
NOTE: Replace XXXX, YYYY, ZZZZ and NNNN with your own values (XXXX stands for username, YYYY for password, ZZZZ for API_ID and NNNN for long number)
Finally, set the PIN/Password.
Step 8:
Navigate to SMS / Users and press Add to select users/domains that will be able to send SMS on behalf of IceWarp. Fill in the password and select Gateway from the list.
Step 9:
Navigate to SMS / Incoming messages and check the option Deliver according to #email# in received messages (match the values on the picture below)
For Two-Way messaging, make a copy of install_dir/html/sms/receive_clickatell_usa.html and name this copy as receive_clickatell.html
Open the new copy receive_clickatell.html and edit the following rows
- &id (use the name of your Gateway, in our case Clickatell)
- &pass (use your created PIN/Password)
- Save changes
Your configuration is now complete.
