Mobile device synchronization via Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol (EAS)

The EAS is a Microsoft proprietary protocol designed for synchronization of the email, contacts, calendar, tasks, notes and SMS from a messaging server to a smartphone or other mobile devices. The protocol also provides mobile device management and policy controls.

The EAS supports Autodiscover functionality which allows a client to be set up automatically by entering your IceWarp email address and password.

The Android and iOS platforms have an EAS client built in by default. Other EAS clients can be downloaded from the Playstore or App Store.
