The license grants you access to the IceWarp services. If your license is invalid or not active, you will not be able to use them.
That is why if you are experiencing any issues with the IceWarp server, AntiVirus, AntiSpam, WebDocuments, WebClient, etc., the first step is to reactivate your license.
To reactivate the license:
- Start Remote Console.
- Click Help -> License (Item 1).
- Click Activate License… (Item 2).
- In the license window, check Order ID and click Activate License (Item 3).
- If the License is successfully activated (Item 4), you will see that its status is OK.
If the status of your license after reactivation is Revalidation failure (Item 5):
- Open your file system.
- Go to the IceWarp config folder and find the license.key file.
- Rename this file.
- Reactivate your license again.
If you see the error message stating that the license server http://licenseprocessor.icewarp.com is unreachable, telnet licenseprocessor.icewarp.com over port 80 to find out if your network connection works flawlessly. If it is not, fix the connection.
